Everyone wants something for free! The word “Free” brings in so much interest and traffic to any post or article that is on your site, people see the word free and instantly are interested, so how can we monetize this?
I use PPC to drive traffic to most of my affiliate sites, and it can even be done when offering free products or samples, for instance, maxbounty offer lots of offers where the user only needs to enter an email to receive free products and the payouts are anything between $1-3 per lead, i recently ran a campaign promoting free cat food samples, i had a simple landing page with a free ebook offer about cats to entice my visitors to join my list! i was paying under $.15 a click for various keywords and phrases, in total i converted at around 40% which was a pretty decent ROI. Theres alot to choose from, free samples always convert very well but be careful how you use your keywords, try to use the phrase match to prevent unwanted and wasted clicks for people searching “cat women”, free to enter contests also convert well but again monitor your keywords closely as these sorts of PPC campaigns can sometimes suffer from low CTR.
Try to be as creatve as possible with your ad campings and try different variations of your ads, keep in mind your target audiance and what they are actually searching for.
These sorts of offers are great for people just beginng which PPC as they can be run on a very low budget.

Well unfortunately this series is coming to an end today
I am going to carry on with the project but its been put on hold for a while whilst i work on other projects
One last update to how it went
I now have 8 articles in ezine, 211 views and 67 clicks!! really good CTR so happy about that
PPC Campaign wasn’t that successful, i spent a total of $28 and only my bounce rate was very high so think i need to look at my landing page.
SALES! 8! yes 8! i cant quite believe it, my niche gets around 100 searches a day so to have 8 sales in just very 48 hours really is quite good
Total profit= around $70 as its quite a low payout.
So relative success but i spent so much time on it that my ROI was just far to low when i think of the time i put into it.
Thank you to everyone who helped and gave advice along the way, i will post soon about my progress with Clickbank.

Ok so still waiting for my articles to be approved with Ezine, it seems to be taking up to 7 days now which is a shame.
I am promoting 3 different products in 3 different niches, all gravity below 100 and targeting some low competition keywords with my PPC
As far as the PPC campaign had been going I’m getting some clicks but a shockingly low CTR of 0.21% across my 3 campaigns which is very worrying. I will give it a few more hours then change a few things.
I am turned off the content ads on my campaigns as i feel it is not targeted enough as i am looking for users to buy so i am trying to target buying keywords such as “cheap” and “buy xxx”
I have used the targeted ad placements on a few sites so my ads only show up on the sites i choose which hasn’t really had many clicks yet so il keep tracking that closely
Stats so far across 3 campaings for 3 seperate products
Clicks-48 CTR-0.28% Ave CPC-£.11 OR $.21
So not the greatest stats but only just started.
I am using a landing page for 1 of my campaings and redirecting through my hop link on 2 others, mainly because im not to good with graphics and secondly because i think it takes to many clicks for the user to buy.
I read somewhere that users will only click on average 3 times before they move on and getting rid of 1 extra click may help me.
NO SALES! As yet and a total 54 hops, would love a ale before 100 hops.
